'This year was supposed to be my final year in Juventus Calcio College in Turin, when I would be given the opportunity to work alongside the training team of Juventus U-21 plus the internship under Maurizio Sarri, the head coach of Juventus. I had been looking forward to it before suddenly the covid-19 spread in the North of Italy. That is where I have been studying and living so far for the past one year. Such news has affected all my plans and even me and my classmate have to be quarantined for 14 days in the dormitory since we were in the same place as one of Juventus' player, Daniel Rugani, was infected. During that time, the medical staffs from Ravanelli Hospital nearby went to give rapid test to all of us one by one. Luckily, the result was negative so I was thinking of going back to Surabaya first before the lockdown plan was imposed.
I had bought the ticket and prepared myself for going home. Unfortunately, the lockdown started earlier than the previous plan as the situation worsened with more and more people got infected. It definitely disappointed me though I got a full refund for my plane ticket. So, here I am now, stuck in Turin during the Ramadhan. Fortunately, the local government has never been late to deliver supplies to us in the dormitory. We even received some donation from Juventus football club, which stalls any salary payment to all of their players and coaching staffs.'
